We perform services such as shipping and towing, salvage missions/lifting, inspections with ROVs and installation and laying of sea lines.
SURVEYING OF
SEA FLOOR
FDA Mimmi has multi-beam sonar to be able to carry out advanced, time- and cost-effective mapping/mapping of the seabed down to 600m using the Kongsberg EM2040-07 multi-beam sonar. The multi-beam sonar produces high-resolution data of the highest quality and accuracy, according to IHO-S44 and LINZ specification, and makes the vessel well suited for carrying out a number of survey investigations and operations, including:
- Route surveys, combined with bottom mapping and ROV inspection, engineering, installation and documentation of pipes, wires and cables
- Mapping and classification of seabed conditions
- Streamlines bottom hardness identification and anchor selection
- Efficient and accurate mapping in the planning phase, for example quay facilities, harbor surveying, dredging and fillings, magazine mapping for volume calculations
- Detection of objects in the water column, for example chain, cables
- Detection of objects on the seabed, for example car wrecks, boat wrecks, chains, cables
- Bathymetric mapping / depth mapping
- Documentation of erosion/mass movements
- Search, rescue and identification of objects on the seabed, for example car wrecks, boat wrecks
- The equipment meets the technical requirements for sea surveying, and under certain conditions can be carried out (clarified in more detail on request).
- Accurate depth mapping with centimeter accuracy, reference level according to the Norwegian Mapping Authority Normalnull/NN2000
- The multi-beam system on FDA Mimmi is optimized to ensure precision by making profile measurements with SVP in the water.
SHIPPING / TRAILING / RESCUE / LIFTING
We carry out rescue assignments by towing vessels or by raising vessels in addition to freight and towing assignments in general.
MARITIM

We supply and install sea lines and weights. We also take on other assignments within building and construction, ex .:
- Drilling and blasting
- Formwork and casting
- Welding
- Inspections / controls.
In addition, we also lay submarine cables for electrification of facilities.
DIVING
SERVICES
Our divers are usually always ready to carry out assignments. Using KAREN, we can quickly move from Finnsnes to the locality.
Alternatively, we also use a car.
INSPECTIONS WITH ROV AND DIVERS
If you need underwater inspections, we can use ROV from one of our service vessels or the diving boat KAREN. Our divers can also carry out underwater inspections using a video camera.
We carry out mooring inspections with a report according to the requirements in Regulations on requirements for technical standards for floating aquaculture facilities [NYTEK - regulations ] .
LAYING AND LOWERING OF SEA PIPES AND SEA
CABLES
FDA AS has delivered, installed and lowered offshore pipelines in various dimensions and lengths. No mission is too small or too large. We obtain local approval UTF 3
In addition, we also lay submarine cables for electrification of facilities.
SERVICES AQUACULTURE
For the aquaculture industry, we provide the following services:
- Installation of moorings, facilities and raft
- Mooring inspections after installation of facilities, and periodic inspections
- Net inspections
- ROV filming in general
- Diving services
- Wash off cages and nets
- De-lice
We perform rinsing and washing of cages and net bags with the use of rinsing equipment / high pressure washer unit / Stealth net washers.
WASH
We perform rinsing and washing of cages and net bags.
FDA AS has several Stealth net washers that are used on various vessels.
In the event of an outbreak of disease, we can assist with washing and disinfection of the entire facility.
ANCHORING. INSTALLATION OF FACILITIES
FDA AS has extensive experience with laying out moorings and installing facilities and fleets. We lay out moorings for aquaculture facilities according to mooring analyses, user manuals, component descriptions and the requirements of Regulation on requirements for technical standards for floating aquaculture facilities [NYTEK regulation].
